We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Inventory Manager to join our team. This role will support the Inventory Manager in overseeing inventory control, ensuring that our dental cleaning devices are well-stocked and efficiently managed. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to supporting our mission. As an Assistant Inventory Manager, you will assist the Inventory Manager in monitoring inventory levels and managing stock replenishment to meet customer demand and minimize shortages or overstock situations. You will conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of stock records, coordinate with suppliers and vendors to track orders, resolve discrepancies, and manage returns. Implementing and maintaining effective inventory management procedures, including proper storage and handling of products, will be a key part of your responsibilities. Utilizing inventory management software to record and track stock movements, prepare reports, and analyze trends will be essential. You will collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to streamline inventory processes and improve overall efficiency. Additionally, you will assist in training and supervising inventory staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and addressing any inventory-related issues or discrepancies promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role, preferably within the retail or medical device sector.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Military experience is highly valued and will be considered a significant asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
