About the position

The Assistant Leasing & Resident Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Leasing & Resident Manager by implementing sales, marketing, operational, and administrative programs aimed at achieving occupancy, resident satisfaction, retention, and revenue goals. This position requires a hands-on approach to the management of leasing operations and resident services, ensuring a positive experience for both prospects and residents.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Leasing & Resident Manager in increasing the efficiency of leasing operations.
  • Assist in the pursuit and deployment of sales and marketing strategies to enhance income and reduce expenses.
  • Ensure the community is presented as a high-quality living space by maintaining readiness for showings.
  • Resolve complex resident concerns and address chronic noncompliance with community policies.
  • Deploy resident information and engagement campaigns to boost resident satisfaction.
  • Oversee day-to-day leasing and resident relations functions, ensuring compliance with company standards and laws.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Leasing & Resident Manager.
  • Assist in developing and managing local marketing strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy of data and reporting in the property management database.
  • Create accountability among team members and provide performance feedback.
  • Lead training and development of team members on company culture and sales techniques.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partner stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in sales, leasing, marketing, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in residential property management.
  • 6 months experience in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proven initiative and productivity in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lead projects and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills to ensure productivity and meet business goals.
  • Experience in coaching team members to improve performance.
  • Ability to maximize revenue through data-driven strategies.
  • Experience in designing customer loyalty and retention programs.
  • Ability to analyze data and connect leasing activities to business strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to resolve escalated customer concerns.
  • Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and property management software.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
