The Assistant - Legal Recruiting and Learning & Development will play a crucial role in supporting the Legal Recruiting and Learning & Development team, which is part of the Firm's Legal Talent Office. This position involves assisting with the full life cycle of legal recruitment and educational programs, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. The assistant will be responsible for coordinating various training programs, including summer associate training, orientation programs, and ongoing training for lawyers at all levels. This includes managing logistics such as invitations, evaluations, and the distribution of training materials, as well as liaising with subject matter experts and internal departments across all Firm offices. In addition to training programs, the assistant will also be involved in ensuring compliance with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements. This includes attending programs, monitoring attendance, preparing remote participation codes, and processing paperwork for both internal and external CLE programs. The assistant will assist attorneys with compliance and registration reminders, as well as updating web-based resources related to training materials and schedules. The role also encompasses support for legal recruiting efforts, particularly in relation to law student recruitment. This includes creating candidate e-books, managing candidate databases, preparing correspondence, and assisting with outreach to student organizations. The assistant will support the Firm's summer associate program by coordinating onboarding, events, and evaluations, as well as providing general administrative support to the Legal Talent Office. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, while also possessing strong communication skills to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
