About the position

The Assistant Maintenance Manager at JLL is responsible for leading a team of maintenance mechanics and technicians in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and operational efficiency. This role involves overseeing preventive maintenance, managing outside contractors, and maintaining a client-centric relationship while supporting multi-site production. The position requires flexibility in working hours and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support maintenance team members to develop skills and expand capabilities.
• Ensure safety standards are met in collaboration with onsite Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
• Manage scheduling and tracking of maintenance tickets and oversee building cleanliness.
• Implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking and perform daily and weekly audits for cleanliness and work orders.
• Participate in budget development and tracking, as well as project planning and cost analysis.
• Provide feedback and performance appraisals to team members, including disciplinary actions if necessary.
• Travel as required to support network needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Prior leadership experience in a maintenance role.
• Experience performing maintenance on industrial machinery, electrical systems, and electronic controls.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules as needed.
• Must be authorized to work within the hiring country without requiring company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience managing budgets and vendors.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Experience in project management.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
