About the position

The Assistant Property Manager will play a crucial role in the management of a 240-unit apartment community located in Macon, GA. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who is not only experienced but also possesses a strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant on-site experience in property management, demonstrating a solid understanding of the industry and the ability to effectively manage day-to-day operations. The Assistant Manager will be the primary point of contact for residents and prospective tenants, ensuring that all inquiries are handled promptly and professionally. In this role, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks including answering phones, responding to emails, and showing apartments to potential renters. The position also involves leasing apartments, generating and managing traffic, and preparing all necessary documentation for new move-ins and lease renewals in accordance with company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will take and handle service requests, complete weekly and monthly reports, and engage in all activities related to apartment leasing, marketing, and social networking. Candidates must be computer literate and possess excellent sales and leasing skills, along with a strong background in customer service. Dependability and reliability are key traits for success in this position. The salary for this role will be based on experience, and performance bonuses are available. Candidates will be required to pass a drug and background screening before being considered for employment. This position is not remote and requires in-person work at the specified location.
