About the position

The Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing at LOFT plays a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of omni-channel marketing strategies. This position is integral to driving cross-functional alignment, particularly through the creation of briefs that outline strategic initiatives, key messaging, and comprehensive deliverables. The individual in this role will work closely with various teams, including creative, visual, public relations, merchandising, social, digital, and store communications, to ensure that brand marketing plans are executed effectively. In this role, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing the project brief development and hand-off process, ensuring that all brand initiatives are communicated and executed seamlessly. The position also involves contributing to daily messaging by incorporating seasonal initiatives and promotional strategies into all marketing assets. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will drive store marketing strategies to enhance traffic through storytelling and ensure that key initiatives are fully expressed in-store. The role also includes overseeing communication related to the Credit Card and Loyalty Program, ensuring that these elements are integrated into overall planning and daily messaging. The Assistant Manager will support philanthropic partnerships by executing charitable campaigns and will work with cross-functional teams from kickoff to implementation for the LOFT Outlet Store. Monitoring and analyzing brand performance metrics will be essential, as will providing insights and recommendations for improvements. The Assistant Manager will also conduct omni-channel competitor analysis and present findings to cross-functional teams, actively seeking out data points to fuel new initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline content processes across all channels to ensure key messaging is communicated effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct omni-channel competitor analysis and present findings to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Media Communication, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of prior work experience within the retail environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Natural problem-solver with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and speaks their mind.
  • Knowledgeable in all forms of social media including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest.
