About The Position

The Assistant Manager, Category Development at Energizer Holdings is responsible for fostering strong customer relationships with Walmart by providing category solutions informed by business and industry trends. This role involves developing insightful reporting and analysis, influencing the line review process, and acting as a strategic partner to assist in the development of Walmart's category strategies.

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent experience required, Marketing/Business Administration preferred.
• Outstanding written & verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical proficiency.
• Experienced in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Power Point, Access).
• Relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Walmart merchant team to develop and grow total category sales using POS data, syndicated data, shopper and consumer insights, and category and industry trends.
• Develop strong customer relationships with Walmart.
• Become a category and thought leader to help develop category strategy based on insights and market trends.
• Develop and deliver presentations as needed.
• Manage the category relay and modular (planogram) building process.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting to provide insights, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions.
• Influence the line review process with insights and data to make recommendations on optimal assortment, planogram space allocation, and flow.
