About the position

The position involves partnering with the Store Manager to lead a customer-first selling culture, ensuring effective routines and visual brand standards. The role focuses on assessing business trends, recruiting and developing a high-performance team, and maintaining a safe work environment. It also includes executing daily business tasks and supporting various operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Model and lead a customer-first selling culture in partnership with the Store Manager.
  • Assess and analyze business trends to identify opportunities and take action.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team.
  • Support and maintain a safe work environment through ongoing safety training.
  • Plan for and execute daily business tasks assigned by the Store Manager.
  • Leverage resources to educate the team on product knowledge and business goals.
  • Ensure associates utilize company tools to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Validate deployment of omnichannel initiatives and drive customer engagement behaviors.
  • Assist the Store Manager with timekeeping responsibilities and scheduling.
  • Support Loss Prevention routines to enhance profitability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills including customer experience behaviors and creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
