About the position
As an Assistant Store Manager at StorageMart, you will play a crucial role in supporting store operations and enhancing business growth. This position involves delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining the facility, managing customer accounts, and occasionally traveling between locations to ensure consistent standards across all sites.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to enhance business growth and maximize sales.
- Engage with customers through phone, face-to-face, and email, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Open, operate, and close the office while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the property.
- Handle customer accounts, assist with account setup, and oversee general administrative tasks, including debt management.
- Occasionally support other stores while maintaining consistent standards across all sites.
Requirements
- Retail sales and administrative experience is a plus (training provided for the right candidate).
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to effectively address customer needs.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors and maintain the grounds.
- A valid driver's license, valid insurance, and vehicle (mileage reimbursed for travel between stores).
- Basic computer skills.
