About the position

The Assistant Manager position at Dandy Mini Marts is designed for individuals looking to advance their careers in a fast-paced retail environment. This role involves supporting the Store Manager and leading a team to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations. The Assistant Manager will take on managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager and will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership and positivity for the team.
• Provide excellent customer service for guests in all areas of their Dandy experience.
• Communicate effectively with the Store Manager regarding store operations, staff performance, scheduling, and training.
• Prepare to cover Store Manager responsibilities in their absence.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent in education or experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook and internet applications.
• Demonstrated ability to assume managerial responsibilities.
• Two years experience in the retail industry preferred.
