About the position

Exciting Career Opportunity with SkyHop Global: Assistant Manager/Fleet Manager. As the Assistant Leader at SkyHop Global, you will play a pivotal role in directing and leading all personnel responsible for delivering Airline Ground Transportation Services at our station. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the acquisition and development of a team of accountable professionals dedicated to providing exemplary service and surpassing client expectations. Success in this role will be measured by the achievement of our corporate goals and objectives, notably to become the most cost-effective and professional provider of Airline Ground Transportation Services. In this role, you will provide leadership to all team members responsible for transportation and schedule management functions. You will ensure strict adherence to safety policies and procedures by all team members and coordinate the development and execution of effective daily and weekly work schedules. Promoting and upholding company values among all team members is essential, as is ensuring timely response to all internal and external communications within corporate Standard Operating Procedures. You will oversee all recruiting and new employee acquisition initiatives to maintain a trained and qualified workforce, enforce compliance with corporate uniform and appearance policies, and ensure drivers adhere to corporate vehicle operating procedures. Additionally, you will manage the completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, including licenses, permits, and registrations, while developing an accountable operating team aligned with SkyHop Global values and standard operating procedures. Accurate documentation and completion of vehicle maintenance requirements and records, including regular audits, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will foster open lines of communication within the station, focusing on written and oral skills, and support team members in resolving internal or external personnel and service issues, fostering a professional work environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Establish strong working relationships with internal departments and the extensive customer base.
  • Demonstrate a high level of passion for exceeding all client expectations.
  • Experience in addressing customer needs and concerns.
  • Proficiency in conversational English.
  • Two to three years of experience in transportation or related industries preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and approval by the Company's insurance carrier.
  • May be required to obtain special city/airport permits.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and evenings.
  • Minimum of 2 years managerial experience is a must.
