About The Position
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our growing team at Luckmore Finance Corp in Kenner, LA. This full-time position is essential for the effective management of our branch operations, particularly in the absence of the Branch Manager. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks including cash control, loan processing, collection activities, and supervising other employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial report writing and interpretation, risk management, and loan processing. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory policies while striving to produce a profitable office. You will assist in managing delinquency control, build business relationships, and maintain clerical functions of the branch. Additionally, you will be responsible for authorizing loan extensions within credit limits and overseeing the flow of cash and financial instruments in accordance with company policy. The Assistant Manager will also play a key role in assessing the risk of all financial transactions executed by branch personnel, contacting customers and community organizations to promote goodwill, and generating new business. You will assist the Manager in preparing necessary reports and will be involved in examining, evaluating, and processing loan applications. This position requires strong communication skills to resolve account problems and establish contacts within finance-related industries such as banking, insurance, real estate, and securities.
