About the position

The Assistant Manager for Self Storage at Your Storage Place is a full-time role focused on supporting the daily operations of self-storage facilities. This position requires bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, and it offers opportunities for growth within the rapidly expanding self-storage industry. The role involves customer service, sales, and basic accounting tasks, while also providing support to the Property Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Filling in for the Property Manager in their absence
  • Maintaining the daily operations of the site
  • Performing basic daily accounting tasks
  • Using sales skills to convert walk-ins and telephone calls to rentals
  • Providing excellent customer service to existing and potential customers
  • Resolving customer issues efficiently
  • Managing custodial maintenance
  • Coordinating truck rentals
  • Working effectively under the direction of a Property Manager and District Manager

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Sales experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Conflict management skills
  • Computer skills, including web-based property management software
