Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant and karaoke lounge.
• Ensure a healthy work environment among employees.
• Deescalate conflicts between customers and staff.
• Perform all staff positions with minimal assistance.
• Manage schedules and reservations, and maintain an online presence.
• Train and supervise front-of-house staff.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Lead Server in the food and hospitality industry.
• Ability to perform all staff positions with little to no assistance.
• Technologically savvy with computers and sound systems.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, sake, and liquor.
• Exceptional knowledge of common cocktails and experience with bottle service.
• California Food Handlers Certificate by the 30th day of employment.
• California Department of Fair and Equal Housing - Sexual Harassment Prevention Training by the 30th day of employment.
• California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control - Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Training by the 30th day of employment.
