About the position

The Assistant Store Manager at Midas plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily business operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth. This position requires strong leadership skills, integrity, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry, as well as the ability to manage staff and optimize workflow effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily business operations, including scheduling, staffing, customer satisfaction, and workflow optimization.
  • Ensure all services are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company, safety, and industry standards.
  • Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track shop performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies for customer retention and future business growth to maximize sales and profitability goals.
  • Provide legendary customer service and ensure customer satisfaction through effective interactions and communications.
  • Oversee, analyze, manage, and control inventory levels, business costs, and expenses to support business objectives.
  • Act as a key holder for the facility, fulfilling opening and closing procedures, including nightly deposits and responding to security concerns.
  • Analyze and minimize workplace safety concerns through training and compliance with safety policies.
  • Ensure test drives are conducted correctly and in accordance with company policy and traffic laws.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting automotive repair and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and senior management to develop and execute business plans and budgets.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement of eighteen years.
  • An active and unrestricted driver's license is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is a plus.
  • A minimum of three years of related experience is required.
  • A minimum of three years of managerial experience is preferred.
