The Assistant Manager of Global Social Media Temp at Orveon Global is a dynamic role focused on supporting the Senior Manager of Global Social Content & Strategy. This position involves developing and executing social media strategies for iconic beauty brands across various platforms, enhancing brand awareness, engaging audiences, and fostering community interaction. The ideal candidate will possess a creative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the calendarization and posting of social content across key platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest.
  • Monitor and engage with followers, responding to comments and messages to foster community interaction.
  • Create agile social-first content, focusing on trends and quick-to-market opportunities, and attend creative shoots to capture content.
  • Regularly analyze social media metrics and data to inform strategy and optimize performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing, presenting opportunities to the broader team.
  • Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies that align with overall business goals, including social commerce.
  • Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns for product launches and ongoing promotions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms.
  • Manage and submit invoices for social media projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in social media management.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a keen understanding of storytelling and digital content.
  • Demonstrated passion for social media and content creation.
  • Experience and/or passion for the beauty industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with CapCut and DashHudson is preferred.
