The Assistant Manager Production Engineer at LG Electronics is responsible for enhancing automated production systems and training staff on equipment operations. Responsibilities

• Modify equipment or processes to maximize efficiency
• Develop and draft new inspection processes
• Prepare layouts for new processes, selecting appropriate machinery, tools, and equipment
• Review and plan projects from concept review to installation and stabilization
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot problems
• Educate employees on proper methods of machinery operation
• Communicate with vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment needed to satisfy client needs
• Follow and adhere to all state, federal, and company enforced safety rules

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology
• 2 years of experience in automated production, robotics, and related equipment
• Experience with CAD software
• Knowledge of computer or machine learning techniques to build models
• Familiarity with industrial robotic systems and design
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and process improvements
