The Assistant Manager, PS&P Public Relations at Honda is a pivotal role responsible for leading the coordination and implementation of Press & Public Relations strategies within the PS&P division. In addition to managing the team, the Assistant Manager will oversee the overall PS&P Press & Public Relations strategy, which includes organizing media-facing events and interactions. This will involve utilizing both internal and external resources to meet business objectives. The role also entails actively managing press inventory activities in a timely and effective manner to support the business plan objectives. A significant part of the job will be to develop and implement a content strategy aimed at engaging media, thereby increasing brand preference and loyalty, which ultimately drives sales division strategies and dealer sales. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Powersports industry, including both 2- and 4-wheel products, and will have a good grasp of Honda's product lineup as well as competitors' offerings. This role demands excellent planning, implementation, and project management skills, along with strategic thinking capabilities to analyze both Honda's and competitors' situations to maximize resources effectively. Strong decision-making abilities and presentation skills are essential, as the Assistant Manager will be required to analyze complex media data reporting and adjust plans to meet organizational objectives.
