The Assistant Manager will also play a key role in training and coaching team members, managing customer interactions, and maintaining operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by following the sales process and providing the best eyewear options for patients' needs.
• Prevent customer dissatisfaction by maintaining a customer service-oriented mindset.
• Support the General Manager by monitoring team performance on key performance indicators and commissionable categories.
• Address and resolve customer service complaints and product quality issues in the absence of the General Manager.
• Ensure orders promise dates are achieved by managing lab reports and implementing quality control measures.
• Analyze team performance to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
• Engage and coach team members on achieving key performance indicators and individual goals.
• Conduct role plays to ensure consistent execution of the sales process.
• Supervise compliance with internal policies and procedures, including dress code and store cleanliness.
• Communicate with upper management regarding employee relations and customer service escalations.

Requirements

• 1 year of management experience in a retail environment.
• 2 years of sales experience in a retail setting.
• Ability to commute to San Antonio, TX.

Nice-to-haves

• Optical experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Experience in fast-paced retail environments such as wireless or insurance industries.
