About the position

The Assistant Manager role at Amazon is a critical position within our Worldwide Operations network, which is dedicated to delivering millions of packages to customers every day. This in-person role requires a motivated and customer-focused individual who will lead a team during their shifts to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in maintaining customer expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered accurately and on time. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing these workflows, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will support, mentor, and motivate your team, collaborating with various support teams, including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives. The position requires flexibility, as shifts will be assigned upon starting and may change based on business needs.
