Responsibilities

• Perform all technician duties including draining motor oil, changing oil filters, and greasing chassis fittings.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure as needed.
• Inspect and top off fluids for vehicles.
• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate oil type and other services.
• Process payments for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill services.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor.
• Ensure cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathroom areas.
• Check in with customers before they leave to ensure satisfaction with their experience.
• Assist in the proper operation of the store in the absence of the Shop Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory levels.
• Act as a role model for other employees in the shop.

Requirements

• Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with people.
• Ability to lead a team and provide excellent customer service.
• Experience in a technician role or similar environment is preferred.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit safely.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Must be alert and aware of surroundings at all times.
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Reliable transportation is required.
