About the position
The Assistant Manager at Subway is responsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience while managing restaurant operations. This includes supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, controlling inventory, and assisting in event planning and promotions. Responsibilities
- Providing an excellent guest experience
- Ensuring great food is prepared and served
- Keeping the restaurant functional, clean, and beautiful
- Controlling inventory
- Scheduling and supervising staff
- Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security
- Being a team player
- Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
- Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions
- Coordinating training needed for successful events
- Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Supervising experience
- Computer skills
- Restaurant experience
