About the position

As an Assistant Manager at Panera Bread, you will play a crucial role in leading your team to deliver exceptional service and maintain the high standards that our cafes are known for. Our cafes are upscale and friendly, featuring freshly baked breads and pastries, made-to-order soups, salads, and sandwiches, as well as specialty espresso beverages. We pride ourselves on providing a grease and alcohol-free environment, which contributes to a positive work atmosphere for our team members. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a warm and inviting environment for our guests, ensuring that every aspect of our service reflects our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. In this position, you will assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, which includes maintaining cafe operations, ensuring product quality, and maximizing financial contributions. You will also be responsible for supervising the development of Shift Supervisors and hourly cafe team members, ensuring that they are well-trained and motivated to perform their roles effectively. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food quality will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will managing facility operations to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
