The Assistant Manager at Jersey Mike's Subs plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and efficient restaurant environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization
- Work in a fast-paced, team-driven atmosphere
- Interface with customers to provide an exceptional experience
- Perform all tasks related to opening and closing the store
- Bake bread and perform all food preparation tasks
- Manage and lead a crew of 3 to 7 people
- Create employee schedules and place inventory orders
- Fill in for the Manager as needed
- Assist in employee training and development
- Participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience preferred
- Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer
- ServSafe Certification - Food Handler
- Reliable transportation
