About the position

As an Assistant Manager at Subway, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an excellent guest experience while managing restaurant operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and controlling inventory. Responsibilities

• Providing an excellent guest experience
• Ensuring that great food is prepared and served
• Keeping the restaurant functional, clean, and beautiful
• Controlling inventory
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security
• Being a team player
• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in the restaurant
• Coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deal with all levels of team members
• Computer knowledge is desirable
• Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
• Physical ability to bend, stand, and walk the entire workday
• Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
