About the position

The Assistant Manager at Dave's Hot Chicken supports the Assistant General Manager and General Manager in daily operations to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly. This role involves directing employees, ensuring job responsibilities are met, and maintaining high standards of guest service and restaurant cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant General Manager and General Manager in daily operations.
• Direct employees and ensure timely and effective completion of work.
• Conduct training for new skills and responsibilities as outlined in the DHC Training Program.
• Perform Ops Walks and Q&A checks to identify and correct areas of opportunity.
• Organize shift schedules for Team Members and monitor attendance.
• Assign duties to employees based on their roles and skills.
• Ensure compliance with cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements.
• Delegate cleaning tasks and ensure daily cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally.
• Maintain a neat appearance by adhering to the uniform policy.
• Provide direction and feedback to Shift Leaders and Team Members.
• Communicate performance issues to the management team.
• Train, schedule, and manage employees in daily tasks.
• Balance cash drawers and prepare cash deposits as assigned.
• Assist the management team as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and fluent in English.
• Certified in all stations following the DHC Training Program.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers and management.
