About the position

The Assistant Manager at Panera Bread is responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the bakery-cafe while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant
  • Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability
  • Creating and executing staff development
  • Coaching and leading your team throughout the shift
  • Recruiting, training, and motivating staff
  • Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's standards
  • Greeting guests and conducting table visits to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the fast/casual, full-service, or hospitality industries
  • Proven team leader with the ability to hire, motivate, and retain staff
  • Hands-on experience in all front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) operations
  • Stable work history
  • Minimum 18 years of age
