About the position

As the Restaurant Assistant Manager at AES Restaurant Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a positive dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the General Manager in leading the team to uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. You will set the tone for the team, guiding them to provide outstanding service and ensuring that guests leave satisfied. This position is not just about managing the day-to-day operations; it’s about fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and coaching team members, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively. You will utilize AES Systems to run a great restaurant every shift, every day, and implement restaurant controls, particularly in cash and inventory management. Setting and meeting restaurant goals for service, operations, and financial results will be a key focus, as AES is a goal-oriented company that values performance and results. You will also be involved in various operational aspects, including profit and loss management, guest satisfaction, customer service, speed of service, and quality control. Adhering to government regulations, employment law, food safety, and operational policies will be essential, as will implementing all accounting controls. Requirements

  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Must be ServSafe certified or capable of obtaining certification
  • Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders for general maintenance
  • Ability to perform bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching motions
