Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including customer service, food quality, inventory management, and staff training and development.
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers by providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage and mentor a team of employees, including scheduling, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales, managing costs, and achieving profit goals.
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste or loss.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality or restaurant management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety and sanitation regulations, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
