About the position

As an Assistant Market Executive at UBS, you will play a pivotal role in the daily management of the Market, acting as a deputy to the Market Executive. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a structured coaching program for financial advisors, enabling them to identify and achieve their growth needs effectively. You will be tasked with running regular sales meetings, assisting in the implementation of growth initiatives, evaluating progress, and creating action plans to address any underperformance. Additionally, you will manage and resolve escalated issues that may arise, including those related to financial, reputational, compliance, supervisory, operational, and HR governance risks. In this role, you will also assist in the selection, hiring, and onboarding of financial advisors, overseeing the transition of those who are new to the market. Furthermore, you will serve as a financial advisor to personal clients while managing your market responsibilities. This position is integral to the Philadelphia, D.C., Charlotte Market Management Team, which focuses on helping high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families meet their financial goals through tailored products and services delivered by financial advisors. Responsibilities

  • Act as a deputy to the Market Executive in the daily management of the Market.
  • Develop a structured coaching program for financial advisors to help them identify and achieve their growth needs.
  • Run regular sales meetings and assist with implementing growth initiatives.
  • Evaluate progress and create action plans to address underperformance.
  • Manage and resolve escalated issues, including financial, reputational, compliance, supervisory, operational, and HR governance risks.
  • Assist with selecting, hiring, and onboarding of financial advisors.
  • Oversee the conversion of transitioning financial advisors.
  • Serve as a financial advisor to personal clients while managing market responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Possession of Series 7, 66, and 9/10 licenses.
  • Motivated, self-directed, and driven individual.
  • Skilled at creating a positive business culture with a human touch.
