About the position

The Assistant Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the firm's marketing efforts by assisting in the development, coordination, and implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns, and client initiatives. This position is essential for promoting the company's brand, enhancing its market presence, and supporting business development efforts. The role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure effective communication of the company's message to clients and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media initiatives.
  • Develop and manage content for various marketing channels, including the company website, social media platforms, newsletters, and brochures.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop marketing materials, proposals, and presentations for client pursuits.
  • Provide creative and administrative planning support for company events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
  • Coordinate project photography and videography, ensuring visual content aligns with brand standards.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and client needs.
  • Manage and monitor the company's social media accounts, creating engaging content and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company website with fresh content and project updates.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to the company's brand guidelines.
  • Lead internal and external communications for the firm.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports to inform decision-making.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support Business Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the construction, architecture, or engineering industries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software, including content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and email marketing platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Availability for occasional work-related travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the commercial construction industry.
  • Knowledge of proposal management software (e.g., OpenAsset, Unanet).
  • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
