The Marketing Coordinator serves as a vital resource for all departments at McKenney's, supporting a wide array of marketing projects, initiatives, and disciplines. This includes digital marketing, advertising, communication, administrative support, database management, design, content creation, event coordination, and enhancing customer experience. The role is essential to the success of our marketing efforts and requires exceptional attention to detail, creativity, energy, self-motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to adapt to an ever-changing industry and technical environment is crucial for this position. In this role, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in the implementation of marketing plans and programs, which encompass advertising, public relations, promotions, and collateral materials. The coordinator will support the marketing team by monitoring project progress, producing reports, communicating with team members, and analyzing results. Additionally, the coordinator will monitor and report on relevant market information for customers and competitors across all media channels. The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for developing content and design for various projects, templates, and deliverables necessary to execute marketing plans and initiatives. This position may involve managing and leading small teams on specific marketing campaigns or projects, acting as a project manager for assigned tasks. The coordinator will support the implementation of a Digital Marketing/Media strategy, which includes developing posts, managing schedules, curating content, and producing progress reports. Furthermore, the coordinator will assist in onboarding new team members, promoting marketing knowledge, and ensuring understanding across the organization. The role also includes supporting senior team members in managing the marketing help desk, social media, event planning, and the McKenney's store. The coordinator will play a key role in the proposal and business acquisition process, monitor the department budget, and manage vendor relationships. Producing reports and analysis on resources and department assets will also be part of the responsibilities. The Marketing Coordinator will participate in implementing technology solutions and development processes by leveraging technology and conducting business process analysis to identify key business needs, issues, and gaps. Organizing team meetings, creating agendas, and following up with notes will be essential tasks, along with communicating with internal customers and partners about the progress of projects and initiatives. Lastly, the coordinator will help develop a marketing/sales team integration through technology by researching and recommending tools to assist marketers and sales teams in executing campaigns, managing digital marketing lead generation and conversion, and enabling the sales team with insights, communications, and workflows.
