The Assistant Marketing Coordinator at Terra Construction plays a vital role in supporting various marketing initiatives and campaigns aimed at enhancing brand awareness. In this role, the Assistant Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and attending external industry events and tradeshows, including the necessary setup and teardown. The position also requires assisting in the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), and industry award nominations. The candidate will help maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, create digital content for social media, emails, and website updates, and assist with internal and external newsletters. Additionally, the role involves maintaining email distribution lists, records for industry memberships and sponsorships, and coordinating the production and organization of marketing materials, presentations, and business cards. The Assistant Marketing Coordinator will also be expected to write clearly and effectively for various purposes and audiences, which may include proofreading or editing content as needed. The role requires maintaining marketing databases and contributing to the establishment and implementation of standards, processes, and policies. Administrative support to the marketing team is also a key responsibility, along with performing additional duties as assigned. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, possesses excellent organizational and time management skills, and has a cheerful outlook and sense of humor.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and attend external industry events and tradeshows, including setup and teardown.
  • Assist in the preparation of RFPs, SOQs, and industry award nominations.
  • Update and maintain CRM and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Create digital content, including social media posts, emails, and website updates.
  • Assist with internal and external newsletters, holiday gift preparation, and distribution.
  • Maintain email distribution lists and records for industry memberships and sponsorships.
  • Coordinate production, maintain inventory, and organize marketing materials, presentations, stationery, and business cards.
  • Write clearly and effectively for various purposes and audiences, including proofreading or editing content as needed.
  • Maintain marketing databases and contribute to establishing, implementing, and maintaining standards, processes, and policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance multiple projects.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and excellence.
  • Knowledge and willingness to learn digital marketing platforms, social media management, and content creation.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience creating social media content for various platforms.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, specifically Monday.com.
  • Experience updating websites using WordPress.
