About the position

The Assistant Marketing Manager for Consumer Credit Card & Personal Lending at Fifth Third Bank plays a crucial role in developing and implementing marketing programs and internal communications for the assigned business line. This position is responsible for coordinating events, promotional programs, and ensuring their successful execution while maintaining a focus on risk management and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Recommend marketing solutions for assigned business line or region and support implementation of marketing initiatives that align with sales goals.
• Collaborate with marketing managers to develop optimal communication channel strategies across print, broadcast, and digital mediums.
• Manage client events including coordination, promotion, RSVP tracking, and event budget management.
• Support the implementation and optimization of marketing and communication strategies by coordinating content sourcing, creation, and distribution.
• Track and communicate the marketing budget for the assigned division or region.
• Engage with line of business and regional partners to educate and define various marketing initiatives to create awareness and deepen customer relationships.
• Create, implement, track, and execute sales contests and incentives.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and advertising programs and recommend changes to drive results.
• Support the company brand by adhering to branding guidelines and managing approvals of new assets.
• Manage multiple vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of job-related work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent PC skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both team environments and independently.
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible.
