About the position

The Vacation Sales Concierge at Marriott Vacation Club® plays a crucial role in promoting the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations® Program to hotel guests. This position involves engaging with guests, offering financial incentives, and assisting the Marketing Manager in various marketing and sales activities. The role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to analyze data to enhance team performance and tour generation.

Responsibilities

• Engage with hotel guests to promote the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations® Program.
• Assist the Marketing Manager in managing day-to-day marketing activities.
• Help develop and implement marketing strategies and programs to increase tour generation.
• Analyze data and reports to monitor team performance and identify trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with sales management and the marketing department.
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching and mentoring to marketing associates.
• Reward and recognize associate performance to motivate the team.
• Participate in the selection process for new marketing associates.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal marketing regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, or 2 years of equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English; additional language may be required for certain positions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to different cultural contexts based on location.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
