About the position

The Assistant Nurse Manager for Clinical Transformation and Virtual Care Services is responsible for overseeing the Masimo Monitoring Command Center (MMCC) and managing virtual care services projects. This role involves daily management of personnel, collaboration with various teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The position requires strategic thinking to enhance clinical service delivery and improve patient outcomes through telehealth and virtual care services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the activities of the MMCC and assigned clinical transformations projects of the OCTVC.
  • Manage assigned virtual care service personnel, including supervisory actions and customer-related communications.
  • Support the Nurse Manager in rendering clinical services and managing internal workflow issues.
  • Maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Improvement (QI) measures and coach staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with Masimo's Operations team to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Ensure program compliance with corporate policies, HIPAA, and documentation requirements.
  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and corrective actions for assigned positions in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Foster innovative approaches to clinical service delivery in telehealth and virtual care services.
  • Provide clinical education and training needs for the program.
  • Facilitate the adoption of Masimo solutions to enhance clinical workflows and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of clinical nursing experience with an understanding of Telehealth, Virtual Care, and Remote Patient Monitoring.
  • Previous staff management experience.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with a positive attitude and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously in an agile environment.
  • Ability to provide consultation and recommendations to senior management.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Professional communication skills with management, executives, physicians, and customers.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time to client sites as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior telehealth, virtual care, or remote patient monitoring work experience.
  • Background in medical technology and patient monitoring including continuous wearable and spot check sensors.
  • Collaborative work experience with clinical engineering and information technology teams.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 based on skills and experience.
