About the position

The Community Living Center Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered professional nurse responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in overseeing the operations of the Community Living Center. This role includes managing, supervising, and evaluating the care provided by nursing and allied care staff, ensuring high-quality and culturally competent care is delivered to patients.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Nurse Manager with supervisory duties
• Provides coverage for other Assistant Nurse Managers
• Supervises specific orientation, training, and staff development
• Equips staff with tools for culturally competent care and promotes a culture of accountability for high quality, cost-efficient outcomes
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Proficiency in basic written and spoken English
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination
• Participation in seasonal influenza vaccination program
• Participation in COVID-19 vaccination program
