About the position

The Assistant Operations Coordinator in the Service Division plays a crucial role in optimizing the delivery of construction and service projects. This position involves scheduling field personnel, collaborating with team members, and ensuring effective communication of work requirements. The coordinator will also support field plumbers with troubleshooting and problem-solving, while participating in an on-call dispatch rotation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource to Operations Coordinators, Field Plumbers, Technicians, and clients.
• Schedule field personnel to optimize the delivery of each construction or service project while meeting customer needs.
• Collaborate with others in an office environment.
• Ensure scope of work and time requirements are well communicated to technicians.
• Use knowledge of each work order to dispatch on a prioritized basis.
• Review field follow-up information to close out electronic work orders.
• Look ahead to identify other needs of field technicians.
• Support Field Plumbers with troubleshooting and providing quality, creative, and solution-driven results.
• Perform other duties as requested from time to time.
• Participate in an 'On-call' dispatch rotation.

Requirements

• Plumbing background/knowledge is a plus.
• Dispatch and/or project management experience is a plus.
• Hands-on field experience in construction is a plus.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong desire and ability to contribute to and work with a team.
• Ability to collaborate with others in an office environment.
• Knowledge of and ability to leverage technology to maximize operational efficiency.
• Takes initiative to proactively solve problems.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
