About the position

As an Assistant Operations Manager at Action Behavior Centers (ABC), you will support the lead Operator in overseeing the overall operations of an ABC Facility. This role focuses on creating a supportive work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and financial standards, and enhancing the lives of children with autism and their families. You will be responsible for metrics tracking, community engagement, and team leadership, with a strong emphasis on professional development and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall operations of an ABC Facility in support of the lead Operator.
  • Cultivate a supportive work environment for the team.
  • Demonstrate commitment to families and oversee financial, safety, and compliance aspects of the location.
  • Track monthly KPIs, clinic budgets, and team performance.
  • Establish connections with families and provide guidance during the onboarding process.
  • Attract, engage, and retain a team of 25-50 professionals delivering clinical excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and develop corrective action plans.
  • Plan monthly and quarterly team events and celebrations.
  • Collaborate with clinic admissions, clinical directors, and department leaders on operational quality.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of people management experience leading a large team.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, or considerable people management experience required.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) to work effectively with children with developmental delays and their families.
  • Strong professional communication skills among department leaders.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and evaluate consequences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the healthcare or behavioral health field.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices.
