About the position

Responsible for increasing revenue of core and ancillary Parts sales, expanding brand visibility for Kubota, managing vendor relationships of established programs, evaluating new products, and coordinating new product introductions. Develop and provide field sales staff with training, training materials, and incentive programs in support of annual and focused Parts Marketing programs. Monitors and reports field sales personnel's progress towards various Parts' sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage the PSR Team: Oversee the daily operations of the PSR team, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
  • Escalation Point for DS Vendor Issues: Act as the primary contact for resolving issues with dropship (DS) vendors.
  • Promotions and Sales Tracking: Maintain and monitor sales promotions and performance metrics.
  • Parts Sales Strategies for Connect: Develop and implement sales strategies for the Connect platform.
  • A/R and A/P Assistance: Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable issues related to dropship vendors.
  • KU Training Materials: Contribute to the development and creation of training materials for Kubota University (KU).
  • Team Development: Support the hiring, training, and professional development of the PSR team.
  • Call Plans, SOPs, and Goals: Develop and implement call plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and goals for the PSR team, in alignment with Parts Sales Managers (PSMs).
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to update and maintain all parts brochures.
  • Aftermarket Parts Brand: Assist in the launch and maintenance of the new aftermarket parts brand, Treten.
  • Backorder Management: Help manage backorder reports for DS vendors.
  • Internal Payables Processing: Process internal payables as needed.
  • CRM Data Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and upkeep of PSR customer relationship management (CRM) data.
  • Marketing Program Implementation: Implement marketing programs developed by the department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field plus 3 years related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the automotive or agricultural equipment industry.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, multitasking and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data management.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Experience in vendor management and issue resolution.
