About the position

As an Assistant Personal Shopper at NET-A-PORTER, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the Personal Shopping team. Your primary responsibilities will include resolving daily order issues, managing administrative tasks for designated Personal Shoppers, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our clients. You will liaise with various departments to address and resolve issues promptly, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a top priority. Additionally, you will assist in closing sales and creating personalized emails for customers that include product images, details, and pricing. You will also be responsible for creating customer profiles to help the Personal Shoppers offer tailored product recommendations. Your role will involve conducting ad-hoc stock searches, checking stock levels of key products, and assisting with stock requests for both internal and external customer appointments. You will help organize and check stock for consignment deliveries and assist with event setups and takedowns. Furthermore, you will process orders, pre-orders, and reservations as needed, and maintain the customer list administration for the Personal Shoppers. This position requires a passion for fashion and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • Resolve all daily order issues, returns, stock discrepancies, etc.
  • Liaise with all relevant departments to resolve issues promptly and follow up until completion.
  • Manage all aspects of administration for designated Personal Shoppers (x2).
  • Escalate complaints to the Personal Shopping Assistant Manager.
  • Support the Personal Shopper to close sales.
  • Help with creating dedicated emails for our customers with product images, product details, and pricing.
  • Outline the service benefits to unengaged customers and ensure follow-up by Personal Shoppers.
  • Create customer profiles for the team to offer the right product.
  • Conduct ad-hoc stock searches and check stock levels of key products.
  • Assist the Personal Shopper with stock requests for internal and external customers' appointments.
  • Arrange samples to be sent to head office and help with setting up and clearing of EIP fitting rooms.
  • Organize and check stock for consignment deliveries to key customers.
  • Assist with event setup, participation, and takedown.
  • Process orders, pre-orders, and reservations of products when needed.
  • Maintain customer list administration.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a luxury sales and customer-facing environment (preferable).
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A flexible, positive attitude and a keen team player.
  • Strong interest in fashion.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral; additional languages are desirable).
  • Computer literacy, with experience in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Understanding of brand.
  • Proficient in InDesign.
  • Ability to build positive and influential internal relationships with other teams.
