About the position

The Assistant Personal Training Manager at Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe LLC plays a crucial role in the leadership team, focusing on driving success in club operations and managing a team of personal trainers. This position is essential for the expansion of the Crunch Fitness brand across Texas and Oklahoma, as Undefeated Tribe aims to invite over 500 individuals to join their team, enhancing community experiences in fitness, wellness, relaxation, and recovery. The work environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and engaging, emphasizing the importance of creativity, boldness, and a willingness to take risks to achieve success. The Assistant Personal Training Manager will support a high-performance culture that prioritizes member integration, programming, and development, ensuring that the club meets its client acquisition and retention targets. In this role, the Assistant Personal Training Manager will assist in developing the fitness expertise of all team members, administer the CrunchOne Kickoff experience, and generate leads for personal training clients. They will counsel and guide members using the 4 Pillars of Fitness—Nutrition, Movement, Supplementation, and Professional Assistance—tailored to individual goals. The position requires excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to responding to member inquiries promptly and maintaining accurate records of personal training services. The Assistant Personal Training Manager will report to the General Manager and Personal Training Manager, attending required meetings and trainings to ensure the team is well-prepared and informed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and fitness expertise of all Crunch team members
  • Meet both new client acquisition and existing client retention targets for the club
  • Administer the CrunchOne Kickoff experience through demonstrating, coaching, and guiding with the goal of acquiring personal training clients
  • Generate personal training client leads and new clients for the team
  • Counsel and guide members using the 4 Pillars of Fitness - Nutrition, Movement, Supplementation and Professional Assistance, in a manner consistent with their goals
  • Ensure accurate administration of PT services including, but not limited to, dotFIT program and supplements, client programming, and progress tracking
  • Isolate, align, and direct resources informed by KPIs & organizational priorities with PTM assistance
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to all member inquiries within 24 hours
  • Report to the General Manager and Personal Training Manager on key results and action plans
  • Attend all required meetings/trainings for PT staff
  • Maintain accurate time clock and personal training session utilization records for proper labor controls and integrity

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of personal training experience preferred
  • CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Prior management experience leading a team of 3-10 employees preferred
  • Experience executing plans and managing KPIs required
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity and judgment that inspires trust
  • Basic understanding of fitness industry, market and key business drivers
  • Certification required in one or more approved Nationally Accredited Certifications: ACSM, ACE, Cooper Institute, IFPA, NASM, NESTA, NFPT, NSCA, ISSA
