About the position
The Assistant Plant Manager at Infinite Herbs is responsible for supporting the Plant Manager in overseeing all aspects of plant operations. This includes production planning, quality control, safety compliance, employee training, and equipment maintenance. The role requires direct supervision of staff and addressing operational issues on the plant floor to ensure production goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Support the plant manager in all aspects of plant operations.
- Assist in production planning and quality control.
- Ensure safety compliance within the plant.
- Conduct employee training and development.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and cost tracking.
- Directly supervise staff and address operational issues on the plant floor.
- Help meet production goals.
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Work experience as a Plant Manager Assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take initiative.
