In this position, the Assistant Portfolio Manager will provide general support to the Portfolio Manager, assisting with tasks, projects, organization, planning, and meetings. The role encompasses various property management cycle tasks, including leasing workflow management, application screening, compliance monitoring, and resident retention efforts. The Assistant Portfolio Manager will also participate in financial reviews, monitoring budgets and actual results, and assisting with month-end close tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Portfolio Manager will also have supervisory responsibilities over the Leasing Team and, when necessary, over the Maintenance Turn and Work Order staff in the absence of the Portfolio Manager and Service Manager. Local travel may be required as part of this position, and the role may involve attending court proceedings when necessary.
