About the position

The Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Kiddie Academy of Allen is responsible for fostering a positive educational environment that supports the intellectual and emotional development of children. This part-time role involves collaborating with the Educational Director to create and implement developmentally appropriate programs and lesson plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the program.

Responsibilities

• Create a developmentally appropriate program for students
• Develop weekly lesson plans, activities, and class set-ups
• Assess children's needs and development
• Work closely with families to encourage mutual cooperation
• Guide instructional staff to help resolve issues with students when necessary
• Ensure the safety of all children in the program
• Closely follow licensing regulations related to childcare

Requirements

• Childcare CPR Certification
• Early childhood education
• Classroom experience
• Preschool experience
• Teaching experience

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of pre-school kindergarten experience (Preferred)
