Donovan Catholic High School is seeking an Assistant Principal of Curriculum/Instruction and Student Life to join our dedicated team. This full-time position is based in Toms River, NJ, and is integral to shaping the educational experience of our students. The Assistant Principal will work closely with the Principal and other administrators to oversee the school's curricular programs and student life initiatives, fostering an environment that promotes character development and personal growth. In this role, the Assistant Principal will supervise the Academic Council, Department Heads, and guidance counselors, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of student learning. They will also coordinate student affairs, including in-school activities, assemblies, and orientations, to enhance the overall student experience. The Assistant Principal will be responsible for overseeing Advanced Placement (AP) programs, curriculum development, and faculty supervision, while also serving as a mentor to students and staff alike. The Assistant Principal will collaborate with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and community organizations, to promote student engagement and service projects. They will manage budgets, plan extracurricular activities, and develop communication strategies to keep families informed about student life events. Additionally, the Assistant Principal will enforce school-wide policies and routines that encourage positive student behavior and leadership, ensuring a supportive and inclusive school environment.
