About the position

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Assistant Process Engineer to support various engineering activities in Summit, New Jersey. This position is a contract role with a duration of 3 months. As an Assistant Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the development and/or revision of project design deliverables. Your responsibilities will include preparing technical documentation and calculations that support technical solutions and adhere to Design Standards. You will work closely with technical subject matter experts to provide support for engineering activities, ensuring that all engineering systems, digital tools, and applications are effectively managed across the engineering community. The ideal candidate for this position will be a college undergraduate currently enrolled in a major related to Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Science. To be eligible for the program, candidates must have completed at least two years of college/university and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. A minimum availability of 12 weeks is required, and previous experience in relevant job duties, either through coursework or industry/academia, is preferred. Participation in student organizations or other leadership experiences will also be beneficial. In addition to the educational requirements, candidates should have experience or a major focus in Facility Design, Construction Management, Maintenance, and Operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.) is essential, along with knowledge of Autodesk systems and applications. Experience with digital applications such as SharePoint and Tableau is preferred, as is experience in managing projects, including scholastic projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and/or revision of project design deliverables.

Requirements

  • College Undergraduate currently enrolled in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Science major.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university during program calendar year.
  • Completed at least 2 years of college/university to be eligible for the program.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Minimum availability of 12 weeks.
  • Previous experience in some job duties listed, either through coursework or industry/academia.
  • Participation in student organizations and/or other leadership experience.
  • Experience or Major/Career Focus in Facility Design, Construction Management, Maintenance and Operations.
