About the position

As an Assistant Product Analyst at Jordan's Furniture, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic merchandising team. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about data and eager to develop their analytical skills in a supportive environment. The role is based out of Taunton, MA, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Once fully trained, you may have the opportunity to work from home 1 to 2 days per week, providing a balance between office collaboration and remote flexibility. The pay range for this position is between $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, reflecting our commitment to competitive compensation. In this role, you will be responsible for placing and monitoring special order and stock purchase orders with furniture vendors to ensure timely delivery. You will act as a liaison between the stores, warehouse, and call center, assisting in resolving any issues that arise. Your analytical and clerical skills will be essential as you respond to inquiries from various stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, and maintain accurate SKU information. You will also be tasked with analyzing vendor performance and assisting in obtaining necessary authorizations for merchandise repairs or returns. Responsibilities

  • Place and monitor special order and stock purchase orders with furniture vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between the stores, warehouse, and call center to assist in resolving issues.
  • Respond to and research inquiries from call center, stores, warehouse, and vendors in a timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison between Jordan's Furniture and vendor factory representatives to solve any issues that occur.
  • Price G SKU products and place all special order purchase orders.
  • Create all parts SKUs, maintain part SKU information, and maintain Parts VLU with correct SKU and component information.
  • Create all parts purchase orders and monitor/update all merchandise and parts purchase orders.
  • Work with Logistics and Receiving departments to resolve shortages and overages on purchase orders.
  • Assist in running all daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Analyze vendor performance relating to cost, shipping times, customer service, returns, and billing practices for parts and communicate any issues to management.
  • Assist in obtaining vendor authorizations for merchandise repairs or returns with factories/manufacturing representatives.
  • Assist warehouse personnel in identifying mis-shipped merchandise and parts as needed.
  • Assist in labeling and supplying the stores with point of purchase sales information.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
