About The Position

The Assistant Product Manager will support the Product Manager in managing products throughout their life cycle, from development to launch. This role focuses on driving sales and profitability while assisting with market research, product feature prioritization, project coordination, and stakeholder communications. The Assistant Product Manager will also help identify new market opportunities, assist in product deployment planning, and track department goals.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in consumer product marketing.
  • Basic understanding of product lifecycle management.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge and/or collaboration with supply chain management teams.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with international teams effortlessly.
  • Flexibility with ever-changing timelines and deadlines.
  • Broad understanding of consumer and competitive dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing product throughout the product life cycle from development to launch.
  • Support the team in driving to the Sales Budget and delivering target profitability.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Prioritize product features based on market needs.
  • Coordinate projects and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Identify new market opportunities and customers.
  • Assist with product deployment planning for new markets.
  • Document product processes and go-to-market requirements.
  • Report on product promotions and performance indicators.
  • Monitor inventory and assist the sales team with product needs.
  • Work with vendors to support product launches.
