About the position

The Assistant Product Test Analyst at AIPSO is responsible for supporting user acceptance testing to ensure that policy production documents are accurate and meet business requirements. This role involves validating forms and documents, performing content and visual validation, and documenting any bugs found during testing. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders and other testing resources to ensure high-quality outcomes in the insurance operations sector.

Responsibilities

• Support user acceptance testing to validate policy production documents.
• Ensure forms and documents meet business requirements and end-user expectations.
• Perform content validation, visual validation, and PDF comparison on forms.
• Focus on forms testing areas such as layout, content, variance, delivery, and recipient.
• Confirm forms generation on applicable policy transactions for both positive and negative conditions.
• Create, run, and maintain user acceptance tests/business scenarios for multiple projects.
• Identify and document all bugs discovered during test execution and communicate with developers for remediation.
• Follow processes to ensure all tests are conducted and documented according to standards.
• Communicate the status of testing activities and provide testing results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university preferred.
• 2 years of testing and insurance operations experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Access).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and quality assurance processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Underwriting experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing insurance education.
